(Formed 2000 in Cleveland, OH) With a unique sound and background, singer/songwriter/pianist Melissa Daggett infuses her God-given talents with her passion for the Lord through lyrics that reflect that passion, and music that is a unique blend of pop/rock, with a hint of country sound from her Texas roots, with lots of depth and energy. Having fallen in love with Jesus at an early age, Melissa uses her love of the Word of God and her relationship with Jesus to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds. She not only sings, but teaches others how to worship in spirit and truth, and how to embrace who they are in Christ by using their gifts to reach others. She has a passion for people, and making this awesome God known to them in very practical ways. Music is just one of those ways, for her. This song, Safe in Your Arms, is a comforting and yet real message to people living in an age of unprecedented violence and terror. There is a Savior who is coming back to this earth again, to destroy evil, and to bring everlasting peace. You can rest assured if you belong to him, that there is nothing to fear if you belong to HIM. You are SAFE in the Savior's arms, even though this world is not safe. In the end, evil will not prevail.
